International Business School India Alumni meet that spanned for two days at a
luxury resort in South Goa concluded yesterday where the Hult President Mr.
Steven Hodges thanked all the Indian Hultians that came down to celebrate and
be a part of the Alumni meet.
The event
started on April 26 (Saturday) with a welcome speech by Hult President Mr.
Steven Hodges showcasing how the school has progressed over the years and what
stage it was currently in. Hult was planning to reinvent its curriculum based
upon the study conducted by Hult Labs. Surprisingly over 70% of corporates felt
the graduates coming out from school were unemployable and lacked practical
skills to match their theoretical knowledge. The new education that will soon
be implemented in MBA classes will be focussed on practical use of the
theoretical knowledge including constant feedback mechanism to make the
students at Hult International Business School across all the 5 home campuses
corporate ready.
The talk was
then taken over by Mr. Kabir Joshi, Director of Corporate Relation India,
setting up the agenda for the two day event and talking about how Hult is
making inroads into the corporate houses across India and abroad. The Hultians
were reminded that they are the basic building block of the brand Hult and Hult chapters across the country would be supported by the school in
whatever way they could.
The late evening
was spend on the beaches of Goa partying and celebrating about the immense
success of the school and Hult alumni associated with the school
Prof. Chris Hyne
(Ex-British Army Spokesperson) was brought it to take a class on crisis
management communication. The class began on April 27 (Sunday) with division of
class into two teams and main focus was on the failure of communication
strategy during the London bombing of 2005. A simulation game was played based
on the recent Malaysian Plane crisis and after it Hult Alumni shared best Hult
Reviews with their juniors.
After the class,
the two day event was concluded by Mr. Hodges and the alumni bid farewell to
each other and promised the make their local chapters stronger than before.
